The chopped strands are produced from the continuous glass E fiber yarn cut to a given nominal lenght, generally in lengths of 3 to 50 mm. The chopped strands have multiple applications, mainly used as reinforcement together with other materials, in addition are designed to help and prevent surface cracks, for reinforcement in thermoplastic and thermoset resins, reinforcement of plaster, concrete, or paper. Within the chopped strands are also available in alkali-resistant glass, such as the Anti-Crak® HD, which is fast and uniform in dispersion, ideal for concrete and other water-based compounds or the low dispersion Anti-Crak® HP for projections or cutting.

Thermal insulation for pipes,flexible pipes, electrical cables, silencers. Manufacture and reinforcement of masts. Manufacture of paddle-blades, bicycles, and other sports.
